I had such a great experience with Dr. Shaw for my upper wisdom teeth removal. I was pretty nervous going into it, but he was incredibly kind, gentle, and reassuring from start to finish. The IV sedation went smoothly, and the entire process was much easier than I expected. What really stood out was that Dr. Shaw personally called me the evening of my procedure to check on how I was doing — that level of care meant so much to me. I had very minimal pain afterward and healed beautifully. I’m so grateful for such a positive experience and would absolutely recommend Dr. Shaw to anyone needing oral surgery.

Dr. Shaw is an exceptional Oral Surgeon who provided outstanding care from start to finish. I truly appreciated his kindness, patience, and reassuring demeanor. Although I was initially apprehensive about the procedure, Dr. Shaw and his team put me at ease, and I am deeply grateful for their care.

I am a recently retired dentist and very familiar with how to evaluate the skill and care given by other dental providers. My wife who, unfortunately, has many medical issues which make her a high risk for any kind of surgery, was in need of oral surgery procedures. I chose Dr. Berrios to perform the surgery based on my personal knowledge of his skill and the positive feedback that I received from the patients that I had referred to him in the past. Dr. Berrios was very thorough in the medical evaluation and took into consideration our wants and needs. He was very compassionate and caring and we discussed all the options for her treatment. The procedures were performed with I.V. sedation and while directly observing the procedures, I can attest to the skill of Dr. Berrios. Dr. Berrios followed up with a call the evening of the surgery and an office visit a week later to evaluate healing. All went very well. I found Dr. Berrios' staff to be very professional, friendly and accommodating. If you are in need of the services of an oral surgeon, I would give Dr. Berrios my highest recommendation.

My procedure was painless, the surgeon was attentive, patient with all of the questions I had, there were some kinks with the billing but it all got sorted out. My only complaint would be lack of communication from accounting/billing. I had to do accounting/collections at a law office I worked at and if we sent two letters with no response we would attempt to contact by other methods (phone and/or email). Other than that everything was well organized, clean, and professional.

If you want a painless tooth extraction, this is the dentist to go to. Dr Rick Berrios has been a dentist since 1987 and knows the procedure inside and out! This was my first experience having a wisdom tooth pulled and I’m 78 years old. Dr Berrios took the time to explain why it had to be pulled, why the cavity could not be filled and what would happen if I did nothing. The pain management after was also explained in easy to follow details. The evening of the appointment Dr Berrios called to find out how I was doing. Lastly, the staff is very caring and sense a patient’s apprehension and do a good job of calming all fears. I highly recommend Dr Berrios!
